Aims of the Programme
The SEAMIE Bachelor of Aviation Management Degree is a specialised Programme concerned with providing an industry-immersive experience in aspects of Airport and Airline Business operations such as Airport Operation Management, Airport Planning and Design, Airline Yield Management, Airline Fleet Planning, Route Management and Scheduling, Passenger and Cargo Operations, Air Transport Safety, Security and Emergency Planning, Sustainable Development of Air Transport and Strategies for Airlines and Airport Operators.
The Programme is designed to prepare and equip students who wish to study a wide range of aspects within the aviation industry as an appropriate base for a career in the management of airlines, airports, or air transport services.. The Programme will therefore provide students with an opportunity to develop Graduate Attributes such as Professional Competence, Global Citizenship, Life-long Learning and a Entrepreneurial Mindset in order to prepare and equip students for a Career in the Management of Airlines, Airports, or Air Transport Services.
