RESOURCE CENTER

The SEAMIE Resource Centre has been designed to bring together a range of learning facilities in an attractive, purpose-built environment with well designed furniture and a modern layout to provide a pleasant and functional study environment.

The SEAMIE Resource Centre has a physical stock of Textbooks related to specific subject areas; as well as providing access to an expanding range of e-resources.

SEAMIE perceive that Textbooks are very important Pedagogical Learning Resource and SEAMIE can advise Lecturers how Textbooks can be used to promote dynamic, rather than passive learning by using these Resources in a more targeted and interactive way and develop assessments.

Textbooks and supporting resources help provide a theoretical element to Flipped Classrooms as they provide an opportunity for students to gain exposure to content prior to class, provide an incentive for students to prepare for class and activities that focus on higher-level cognitive activities involving active learning.
