SEAMIE are committed to forming Collaborative Partnerships between London Metropolitan University and Vietnamese Universities and fostering relationships with other Institutions in Vietnam because:

1. Collaborative Partnerships increase the Value Proposition for each Partner
2. What is GOOD for the Students is GOOD for the Universities
3. University Education is a preparation for Life in the Working World and in a Globalised Society International Collaboration provide Students with the ability to Learn in an International Capacity
4. Collaboration and sharing Knowledge is essential for Academic and Scientific accomplishment
5. Developing successful Collaborative University Partnerships takes a long time and requires a lot of effort and perseverance to forge strong connections
6. Partnership Sustainability and Endurance means selecting which Universities to partner with carefully while confirming that Members of the Partnership have the same vision

SEAMIE will only identify and pursue those Universities that are able to endure the long term and can adapt and survive in changing circumstances. There is an African proverb that reads: When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm – As SEAMIE has no doubts in their own mind of the importance of Collaborative Partnerships then no doubts from others will ever cloud their Judgement.
