
INTRODUCTION
In February 2021 Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) entered an Agreement with SEAMIE whereby SEAMIE will responsible as Consultants to implement a Double Degrees for NTTU in Collaborative Partnership with London Metropolitan University from UK.
The Agreement gives SEAMIE the responsibility to
- Develop an Academic Strategy on behalf of NTTU for the Internationalisation of its Programmes
- Negotiate the Agreement between NTTU Vietnam and London Metropolitan University (London Met) UK for the delivery of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Double Degrees at NTTU. The Two Degrees will be recognised by each University separately as the recognised Award of the Programme
- The Degrees that have been developed by SEAMIE and Articulated and Accredited by London Met include International Business, International Marketing and Aviation Management at Undergraduate Level and SEAMIE agree that NTTU can use these Programmes under the name of NTTU to submit for Validation by London Met
- The Degree that has been developed by SEAMIE and Articulated and Accredited by London Met include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Postgraduate Level and SEAMIE agree that NTTU can use this Programme under the name of NTTU to submit for Validation by London Met
This Project is prestigious and Adds Value to NTTU as Students will have the benefit of Two Degrees issued independently by Two Universities from Two Countries – Vietnam and UK.
AOUT NGUYEN TAT THANH UNIVERSITY (NTTU)
NTTU was upgraded to a University in 2011 and is based at 300A Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ward 13, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City. NTTU delivers Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree programmes in five main areas of training including: Health Sciences, Economics, Social Sciences – Humanities, Engineering – Technology, Arts – Fine Arts to 21,000 Students.
Some of NTTU’s achievements include 4-Star Certification by QS-Stars, 4-Star Certification by University Performance Metrics (UPM), MOET University Accreditation Certificate, 4 AUN Accredited Training Programmes, 3 MOET Accredited Training Programmes, Ranked 7th out of 12 Universities in Vietnam by URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance).
These accomplishments recognise that 100% of NTTU’s Programmes are adjusted to Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and 100% of the Teaching Methods adopt Group Work, Presentations, Case Study, Project Methods, Creative Thinking and Other Soft Skills such as using Library Information Resources. These Pedagogic achievements have resulted in high Employability Success Rates with 91% of Students obtaining Jobs within One Year of Graduating.



In the area of Scientific Research and Technology Transfer, NTTU conduct numerous Scientific Research Projects, Host several International Scientific Seminars each year, Manage 3 International Scientific Journals (Vietnam Journal of Computer Science VJCS, ISSN: 2196-8888); (Southeast Asian Journal of Sciences SAJS, ISSN: 2286-7724 and East-West Journal of Mathematics ISSN: 1513-489X).
NTTU’s Facilities include State of the Art Classrooms, Lecture Halls and a Library based on a Common Learning Space Model with Printed and Electronic Databases.
NTTU have International Cooperation with 56 Foreign Higher Education Institutions including 6 International Projects in Collaboration with Universities from UK and Europe in various fields such as Food Safety and Transportation.
